Biogas Production from cowdung and Eucalyptus

Comparative study was conducted from Production of Biogas using cowdung, Leave liters from Eucalyptus camaldulensis and mixture of the two substrates, Eucalyptus was pretreated before slurry preparation,Volume of Biogas produced were monitored using measuring cylinder (water displacement method) throughout the production period, Biogas produced from each substrate was also collected using urine bags and analysed using NDIR gas analyser, percentage of some gases components that come along with methane and their caloric values were determined. Data collected were subjected to ANOVA using minitab17, which some parameters shows no significant difference while some parameters shows significant difference at p=0.05.
