Biological Activities of Plants

Biological activities of most important medicinal plants from Mirpur, Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Pakistan. Antimicrobial activity (Antibacterial and antifungal), Cytotoxic, Antitumor and Antioxidant activities are reported in detail. Material and methods and require instrumentation for bioassays are described in easy narration for new researchers, who wish to explore new phytochemicals. Pharmacological importance of medicinal plants is described along with the impact of medicinal plants on our local healthcare system. This book is valuable for the researchers, investigating the biologically active constituents for pharmacological application and provide baseline for pharmacists to discover new drugs.
