The idea of writing this book was conceived when my own students, found great difficulty in getting the recent literature regarding the biological profile of heterocycles. The current book is compilation of biological profiles few 5/6-membered heterocycles like pyrazole, thiazole, triazole etc. This book is meant for research students who carry out their research in the field of medicinal chemistry.

Dr. Narasimhan B, is currently working as Head, Department of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Maharshi Dayanand University, Rohtak. He has more than 10 years of teaching experience and has published more than 80 articles in journals of national and international repute. He has guided research projects of 42 students and presently guiding 20 students.
