Biomass Production of Cenchrus ciliaris

Plants have many diverse uses which have direct or indirect bearing on the civilization of human society. It is important to utilize these plant resources. Range lands are extensive tracks of arid and semiarid lands. The best use of rangelands is for live stocks. Cenchrus ciliaris also known as Buffel grass or African foxtail is a valuable palatable and nutrititious grass for live stock herd.
