Biomaterials in Endodontics

Biomaterials are the need of the hour, they are the materials of choice in all walks of dentistry specially in Endodontics. The properties of the Biomaterials like, Biocompatibility and remineralizing properties have made them to be a popular choice for various Endodontic procedures both in Deciduous and Permanent dentition. Materials like MTA and Biodentine have been used in various procedures like pulp capping, pulpotomy,apexification,perforation repair,obturation and root resorption cases. This book is being complied for the readers to get comprehensive knowledge of the various Biomaterials that are being used in dentistry with special emphasis on their use in Endodontics. For the ease and better understanding of the readers the data has been presented in a sequential order, the limitations and drawbacks of the materials used earlier along with the advantages of the newly introduced materials can be clearly understood. El Dr. Mohd Salman Akhtar es licenciado en Botánica por la AMU, Aligarh, en 2007. Hizo B.D.S en 2012 y M.D.S (Odontología Conservadora y Endodoncia) en 2017 de KDCRC, Moradabad. Ha participado activamente en presentaciones de artículos científicos y pósters. Es un inventor y tiene dos patentes a su nombre. Es miembro de IDA (Moradabad) y miembro vitalicio de IES.
