Biospectral Studies of Some Trnsitionmetal Complexes of Phenoneoxime
Details
Research over the last 2 decade has increase concer n about the infectious disease, which are resulting from the presence of pathogenic microbial agents . these disease reduce or eliminate by the use of bio logically active ligand ncomplexes. It has been esta blished that aromatic compound containing O,S,N,X, OH,oxime, semicarbazide, thiosemicarbazide of phenone have significance due to their wide application in industries, medicine, detection n determination of va rious metel ions. These properties depend upon the nature n position of functional group n show increa sed activity in the form of their metal cheletes.Heavy metals are toxic in nature n their toxicity decreases during complex formation, which is due to faster diffusion. The ligand n complexes hsve been isolated n characterised by elemental ana lysis, thermogravimetric analysis, magnatic suscepti bility measurements, spectral studies. The antimicrobial activity of ligand n complexes have also been calculated.Stability constant n other thermodynamic have been calculated at diff. T and conc.It may concluded from the study that paeonol n metal chelates show antimicrobial activity n re search should continueto isolate n modify phenon
