Black Ink

'Blank Ink' is an Anthology of poems that tell the story of modern day Africa. It is woven in poetic craft, bringing out different stylistic devices that do not only make the reading pleasurable but makes this book a teaching aid. Personification, alliteration and the use of rhyme, metaphors, satire are among the few devices in use. The different poems touch on different subjects presented in the African continent today. These include; leadership and corruption; love, betrayal, family and friendship, boy and girl child; among others.

Ouma Kizito Ajuong is a lawyer, an advocate of the High Court of Kenya and a poet. He has written and published more than 1000 poems contained in anthologies thus; 'Behind the curtains' (2020); 'Mikayi' (2021), and 'A Poem a Day' (2023).
