Blog Assisted Language Learning

For many years, blogs have been used as a medium for facilitating communication and sharing ideas among different groups of society. Language learning has similarly benefitted from this technological advancement. It has been investigated in numerous research studies that language learners can benefit from blog assisted language learning in a variety of different ways. In this book, the adequacy of blogging on increasing the vocabulary level of students and improving their grammatical accuracy is investigated. This book is particularly suitable for language teachers and researchers in computer assisted language learning programs to understand major potentials of this innovative pedagogical system and students' reactions to it.

Sajad Faramarzi is a lecturer of Applied Linguistics at Shahid Beheshti University of Medical Sciences and Islamic Azad University. His major interests are Computer Assisted Language Learning, Computerized Testing, and Distance Language Learning. He has published many scholarly articles and books.
