The success of an organisation to some extent has been influenced by the effectiveness of the board of directors which are saddled with the responsibility of monitoring management activities. For an organisation to succeed the board of such organisation are to be up and doing since it is believed that individuals are self-interest rather than altruistic hence the need for an effective and efficient board of directors that is well diversified.
