BONE GRAFT MATERIALS AND BONE AUGMENTATION PROCEDURES

The alveolar bone undergoes resorption as age progress and also certain systemic disorders will enhances the rate of alveolar bone resorption which makes the fabrication of prostheses very difficult. These kind of resorbed ridges increases the chances of failures with the prostheses. The success of any prostheses depends on the quality of the residual alveolar ridges so these bone grafting materials and procedures will makes the alveolar ridges more favourable for the fabrication of definitive prostheses.
