Dr. Yan-Zhong Chang is a Professor, the Director of the Department of Physiology, and Dean of the College of Life Sciences, Hebei Normal University. He is a member of the Biophysical Society of China (BSC) committee, and the Associate Director of the Free Radical Biology and Biological Trace Element Branches of BSC, as well as of the Neuroendocrine and Metabolic Branch of the Chinese Society for Neuroscience (CSN). He also served as a member of the advisory board of Cellular and Molecular Life Sciences and of the editorial board of the Journal of Biochemical and Pharmacological Research. Prof. Chang's research focuses on iron metabolism and related diseases, and he has published more than 100 articles in this field.
