Brazil's Family Agribusiness: Challenges and Trends

This collection of texts summarises the main concerns related to issues involving Brazilian family agribusiness, addressing the various issues related to production. Concerns about sustainability in the chain links involved, management and production methods, limitations due to the lack of effective public policies and technology and innovation. The challenges are great, but the expectations and trends are excellent. In view of the demand for products from human food chains on the national and international commodity and non-commodity markets. The chapters seek to expose relevant and complex issues involving production and management, but also to list the positive impacts of the activities involved, whether due to human action or the benefits of technology. This collection favours aspects related to the new realities of the Brazilian countryside, from the perspective of production in rural settlements, and the importance of the rational use of resources. It is hoped that this work will highlight the importance of the work and production of rural social actors, with a view to sustainability, longevity and a better quality of life in the countryside.
