Breaking seed dormancy and producing pequi tree seedlings

The pequi tree has a low emergence rate and speed. Emergence periods vary from one to eight months, using treatments to break dormancy, and even longer periods without seed treatment. The aim of this study was to verify the influence of different concentrations of gibberellic acid (GA3) on the germination of pequi seeds in nursery conditions, located in the city of Estreito-Ma.
