Brian Lee Diemer (born 10 October 1961 in Grand Rapids, Michigan) was an American track and field athlete, who mainly competed in the 3000 metre steeplechase during his career. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1983 after winning the NCAA Indoor Track and Field 2 mile championship, held in nearby Detroit, and the Outdoor steeplechase. He won the outdoor 1983 3000m Steeplechase in a time of 8:26.95. He competed for the United States in the 1984 Summer Olympics held in Los Angeles, United States in the 3000 metre steeplechase where he won the bronze medal. He also ran in the 1988 Summer Olympics, finishing seventh in his semi final. He followed that by qualifying for the 1992 Olympics. He also won several The Athletics Congress (TAC) and U.S. Track and Field (USATF) championships over that time.
