Budgetary Alternatives for Post-disaster Recovery: The Case of Jamaica

This book addresses the fiscal side of post-disaster recovery from a public policy perspective. It aims to identify an efficient budgetary alternative to distribute resources for infrastructure recovery in post-disaster. In this line of thought, in order to minimize the effect on the economic activity, the budgetary alternative is expected to perform with speed and efficiency. Likewise, it is expected to be an attainable alternative based on the institutional and fiscal profile of Jamaica.
