Burnt Alive. Life is a Story - story.one

As the war nears San Silvestre, a small town in the north of Spain, the parochial church priest announces the army's plan for conscription in town. Herminia had lost three sons previously in the wars and pledges to protect her last son, Jesus. She plans to do so by kidnapping an innocent girl from another town called Maria and subsequently forcing her to marry Jesus. Already pregnant in secret, Maria has no idea why she is being kidnapped or tricked into a fake marriage.
