Thinking from the Heart is a collection of candid essays on contemporary issues of a broad range. It encapsulates the implications of a capitalist and neo-liberal economic order on a globalized and inter- connected world and draws linkages to resulting gendered dimensions and divisions of economic, social and political roles. Writer's views on the importance of education and equality of economic opportunities, sovereignty and American imperialism, are reflective of the way the youth of the global south condemns extremism, on their own terms. The interesting encounters within Pakistan have been written with sensitivity and humor which represent the diversity and dynamism which lies within.
