Business Incubation and Firm Performance in Turkey

A wide array of mechanisms is being promoted to support Entrepreneurship and innovation - widely accepted as essential sources of business success, high value added job creation and national economic development. Among these mechanisms business incubators have emerged as highly popular methods. Is it correct? This study aims to illustrate the Turkish experience on Technology Business Incubator Programs and its impact on the firm performance, particularly the innovative start-ups.

He has a bachelor degree on "International Relations" and MSc.on "Science and Technology Policies Study" from METU in Ankara,Turkey.Currently he is continuing PhD program in the same department. In 2011 he was awarded a scholarship which is funded by the EU, obtained MSc degree on "Innovation and Entrepreneurship"from Unversity of Essex,UK.
