Business incubation in Senegal's digital sector

In a world undergoing rapid digital transformation, Senegal is positioning itself as a key player thanks to innovative initiatives in the information and communication technologies (ICT) sector. This book explores the crucial role of CTIC, the first technology business incubation center in French-speaking West Africa, in the development of digital entrepreneurship in Senegal.Through a detailed case study, the author highlights the internal development dynamics, challenges and opportunities associated with start-up incubation. The book also examines the impact of public policies, notably the "Emerging Senegal" Plan, and how they are shaping the entrepreneurial ecosystem.Adopting a qualitative approach, the book offers an in-depth analysis of the perceptions of digital sector players, the role of the ICTC and the paths taken by entrepreneurs.
