Business Mathematics

The book deals with mathematics applied in Economics, Commerce and Business along with some preliminary mathematics needed for solution of business problems. It contains 12 chapters covering geometry, set theory, probability, calculus, determinants, matrix algebra, solution of linear equations, annuity, discounting, compounding and linear programming. In each chapter there are many worked out examples of practical use. Moreover, some problems are presented for solution by the users.

Professor K.C. Bhuiyan was born in 1957 and completed his Ph.D. degree in 1982. He was teaching in Rajshahi University, Jahangirnagar University, Bangladesh. He was also teaching in Garyounis University, Libya.
