The purpose of this book is to show how high-growth enterprises create their business models. To illustrate the background of this topic, the concepts of business models existing in the literature are presented along with their perspective on further development and external conditions that affect them.

Since the beginning of time, running a business has involved using logic by which the business operates. This logic is called the business model in management science, which increasingly is focusing on issues surrounding business models. Research trends related to business models include value creation, value chain operationalization, and social and ecological aspects, as well as innovation and digital transformation. An associate professor at the Czestochowa University of Technology, Faculty of Management, Iwona Otola PhD is well recognized in Poland and abroad for her expertise in management issues. Her scientific interests focus on strategic management, resource-based view, business models, entrepreneurship and competitiveness of the enterprises. She has published over 100 papers and 6 books.

An associate professor of Czestochowa University of Technology, Faculty of Management. Marlena Grabowska PhD is well recognized in Poland and abroad for her expertise in management issues: business models, competitiveness and innovativeness of enterprises, enterprise value management and corporate governance. She has published over 130 papers and 5 books.
