Cachoeiro de Itapemirim: its songs, charms and counterpoints

Capturing an image involves the simple act of focusing and shooting. Each one is accompanied by the gaze of the photographer and this gaze is shown in all the spaces of the photograph. Capturing an image, recording it, rather than eternalizing a moment, also provides an admiring or critical gaze, which always allows us to read and interpret beyond what was intended. It's up to each reader, based on their knowledge and their reading of the world, to assign meanings and senses to an image. This is what drives us: reading, re-reading and getting to know Cachoeiro through the lenses of students who, uncommitted to a critical vision, have provided us with rich material for the construction of this analysis.
