Calculation of fusion reaction cross-sections

This book has explicitly discussed how the probability of fusion reactions which is named fusion reaction cross-section here is calculated. The book give semi-classical approach to the calculation of fusion reaction cross-section and the angular momentum needed for a possible fusion reaction of the used heavy ions. Heavy ions are those ions whose A4 and are generally assumed to be too heavy for fusion reaction. This book has shown theoretically that it is possible to have heavy ions fuse.
