Cancer and Ayurvedic Research

Accanthus ilisofolius, Phylanthus amarus, Morinda citrifolia (Noni), Terminalia catappa, Alstonia scholaris, Acanthus ilicifolius, Caesalpinia bonducella,Curcuma longa etc are used in Ayurvedictreatment of various ailments including cancer.Litrature survey also support becase these plants contains a number of bioactivator substances that contains anti oxidant and antigenotoxic properties and capable of scavenging free radicals.

Dr.M.Sultan Ahmad has obtained his Ph.Din 2004(AMU)in Cytogenetics.He has qualified JRF/NET from CSIR in 1998,SLET(BET)from UGC,India.He has received SERC Young Scientist Project from DST.He has published several research papers in reputed journal's world wide.Recently he is working as senior Assistant Professor in SN(PG)College,India,since 2001.
