Canopy Management Studies In Mango Cv. Alphonso Under Uhdp

Canopy management is a critical component to improve crop performance by increasing the magnitude of partitioning of dry matter towards reproductive parts. In recent times, ultra high density planting in mango is gaining momentum wherein planting at a very closer spacing is being adopted. In this context, canopy management is an important aspect to be considered for increasing the productivity and ensuring continuous cropping of mango trees besides getting good quality mangoes. With this background, to standardize the canopy management technique in mango cv. Alphonso under ultra high density planting was taken up.
