Capacity Assessment for the Production of Sugar Factory Equipment's

This book investigates the capacity of metal engineering Industries in Ethiopian in order to fabricate and erect components of sugar factory. The manufacturability of process house and sugar handling plant components was assessed by developing a process plan for each component using product design and equipment specification documents. Accordingly, issues related to the manufacturing of process house and sugar handling plant components were studied in detail. Additionally, the potential of metal industries of the country, fabricate the process house and sugar handling plant were investigated by analyzing their capacity (i.e. human and technological) resources. This book integrates seven fabrication industries and a foundry factory for the manufacturing of thoseequipment's through supply chain model. This book is expected to be used as a reference for professionals in sugar engineering, mechanical engineering and manufacturing engineering, also for investors who are interested to invest in Ethiopia in the area of manufacturing industries or tool and equipment suppliers.
