This book is not the only one of its kind, but it focuses on a very small segment of the official capital Market which is the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Studying other segments might produce different results. Also the empirical researches en-counter similar problems when studying the efficiency of Capital Markets in some other transition economies. Therefore it is important to underscore the importance of the Capital markets as it influences the Economy.
