Utilizing the Prowess IQ database for accurate financial data, the study employs descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and panel data regression to identify key determinants of capital structure and their impact on financial performance. It also explores the influence of ownership structures and shareholding patterns on capital decisions. Key questions addressed include the similarities in capital structure components across companies, the factors determining debt-equity choices, and the direct relationship between capital structure and financial performance.
