The book is trying to compare the carbon stock in the forest ecology between two different ecological zones of Nepal. The study forest conditions are almost similar since both districts' forests are under Shorea robusta dominant but how the biomass carbon and the soil organic carbon differ and why? You can find the answer to this question in this book in addition to the number of useful ecological and environmental setting in typical forests from the foothills of Himalayas, Nepal.
