Carbon Stock of the various carbon pools in Gerba-Dima forest

This book is written based on our publication on Carbon stock for the purpose of filling a shortage of reference material on the area of carbon stock estimation of a forest ecosystem. The motivation for writing this book came from the persistent request from students and colleagues for a suggestion of a reference book on methods of comprehensive data collection and analysis on Carbon stock of forest. The lack of comprehensive methods of data collection and analysis on carbon stock estimation inspired the authors to prepare this book.

Dr. Abyot Dibaba studied Biology for his BSc., Dryland Biodiversity For his MSc., and Plant Ecology for his Ph.D. at the Addis Ababa University, Ethiopia. Currently, he has been teaching and conducting research on Plant ecology, Carbon sequestration and Ethnobotany at Debre Berhan University, Ethiopia.
