The poor have additional income to support their livelihoods for their efforts to conserve standing forest and global risk gets minimised simultaneously. This is a pioneer research of its kind in Nepal and explores alternative but viable option of the most needed finance for poverty reduction and development. Carbon trade blends ecology and people's prosperity positively.
