Cardiac localization of hydatid disease is rare (< 3%) even in endemic countries. It is a condition characterized by a long functional tolerance and a great clinical and paraclinical polymorphism. Cardiac hydatitosis is serious because of the risk of rupture requiring a semi-urgent surgery. The diagnosis of rupture is based on clinical and echocardiographic findings. The aim of this book is to report some interesting cases operated for cardiac hydatid cyst.
