Knowledge of 'Oral Hygiene' is our utmost importance to control infection. This will help the dental students as well as clinicians practice 'Oral Hygiene' during clinical examination and other procedure .Orthodontic treatment may impact the oral hygiene cause it tend to retain food debris and plaque . Poor oral hygiene can lead to permanent damage to dental tissues ranging from white spot lesions to dental caries. It has been shown that malocclusion can negatively affect patients' oral health-related quality of life, especially the psychological aspects. By addressing malocclusion, orthodontic treatment can enhance individuals' dental function and aesthetics as well as their social wellbeing and quality of life. In this edition it has been discussed regarding every possible problems and their solutions during and after orthodontic treatment like orthodontic pain, gingival pain, periodontal tissue inflammation, pulpal reaction and pain, speech problem, trauma , allergy.
