Cash Handling Practices and Performance in the Banking industry

Cases of cash fraud and robbery have been overwhelming in the recent past, not only in Kenya but worldwide and to such an extent that some Banks have been totally immobilized or closed. A special feature of this book is that proper care has been observed to include all existing and registered banks in Kenya, as at 2010, in a census study and subjecting data collected to statistical tools of descriptive and inferential analysis. Proper care has been taken to focus on 'Effect of cash handling practices on financial performance of commercial banks'. Key areas of concentration are cash reconciliation, cash transport, cash storage and cash insurance.
