Everything has always worked out well for Detective Allison Mars. She was number one at the police academy. She is smart, determined and leaves no stone unturned. That is until she meets one woman at a bar, they go from awkward to laughing. Everything is perfect and they go back to her place, which is something she doesn't normally do. When a dead body appears after, it leaves her shocked and torn. For the first time in her life, everything she learnt at the academy can't help her here. With her work ethic challanged, can she find out who the killer is? Or is she too close?

Ntombekhaya Olwethu Zibi is a 29 year old South African lesbian fiction writer and dancer. After her diploma in Journalism and Media studies in 2014 she couldn't find a job and decided to start teaching children how to dance while she wrote some LGBT novels on Facebook. She started broadening her audience by joining Wattpad, Booknet and Dreame in 2016 to bring awareness and teach people about the LGBTI community. Today she is volunteering for a year in Germany where she is learning a new language and also working with children. Writing is in her blood no matter how busy she is.
