Cedar Creek Mine Ride is a roller coaster operating at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio in the Frontiertown section of the park. It is the second oldest operating roller coaster in the park behind Blue Streak. While many patrons mistake the coaster as being wooden, the ride is actually constructed of steel tubular track on a wooden frame, hence it is considered a steel roller coaster.Cedar Creek Mine Ride is one of two roller coasters at Cedar Point to utilize two separate lift hills, the other being Iron Dragon. Cedar Creek Mine Ride was originally built to handle up to six trains at once. Many of those block brakes have been removed. The coaster typically only operates with two trains on most days, three on high attendance days, and one on low attendance days.
