High Quality Content by WIKIPEDIA articles! Cellador is a power metal band from Omaha, Nebraska, formed by guitarist Chris Petersen in 2004. After a rotation of a few member try-outs in the band's earliest days, Chris managed to come across a line-up in 2004 that revamped the music to its current "True Metal" form we know to this day. The band eventually signed to Metal Blade after playing a show with The Black Dahlia Murder. Cellador's debut album Enter Deception was released in 2006. The band recorded the album at Erik Rutan's Mana Studios. In an article from the December 2006 issue of Metal Maniacs magazine, Chris Petersen says that the band's name came from the words "cellar" and "door". Petersen said that he read an essay online by author J.R.R. Tolkien which stated that the two words have an appealing sound when combined.
