Cephalometry: Determining local norms

Cephalometric norms differ in each population. While addressing conditions involving the upper airway, it is essential to have data representing norms to help identify the abnormal. Normal cephalometric measurements of one geographic location may be symptomatic for another geographic location. It is, therefore, essential that norms from each population should be calculated and used as reference values
