CER (Serbian: Digital Electronic Computer) model 10 was a vacuum tube , transistor and relays based computer developed at IBK-Vinca and Mihajlo Pupin Institute (Serbia) in 1960 (4),(5)]. This was the first digital computer ever developed in SFRY. CER-10 was designed by prof. dr Tihomir Aleksi and his associates ( acad. dr Rajko Tomovi , Ahmed Mand i , Petar Vrbavac, Vuka in Masnikosa, Du an Hristovi and Milojko Mari ) and developed over the period of four years. The team is said to have included 10 engineers, 10 technicians and many others. After initial prototype testing and redesign in the M.Pupin Institute it was fully deployed at Tanjug Agency building and worked there from 1963. to 1967. First CER-10 was situated from 1961.in SKNE-DSUP building, which later belonged to Tanjug. March 2006 the M.P.Institute gave the case and parts of CER-10 to the Museum of Science and Technology in Belgrade in Belgrade, where it will eventually be displayed.
