The book spread over eight chapters dwells upon some aspects of green economics, technological challenges and energy matrix in Indian context. It also deliberates on managing air, water and forest resources, pleads to facelift degraded mining environment, a call to foster environmental entrepreneurship and mobilize the support of corporate sector in greening the environment. For the academia the text is intended to serve as a reference book furnishing some account of environmental predicaments.

Ancien élève distingué de l'Indian School of Mines, titulaire d'une maîtrise de technologie en ingénierie minérale et d'un diplôme d'études supérieures en gestion d'entreprise, il a publié plus de soixante articles et neuf livres dans ces domaines. Il est actuellement conseiller auprès d'un groupe de sociétés basé à Raipur, dans l'État indien de Chhattisgarh.
