Challenges of Women in Politics

The study deals with the empowerment of women who lack power and position and are over-represented among the poor. The concept of empowerment is based on the enhancement of their participation in the political arena. It deals with the totality of having the decision-making power of women. In the present scenario, the involvement of women in politics is vital for their overall emancipation and empowerment.
