Change Management in Academic Libraries

Nowadays, academic libraries are faced with issues and pressure from internal and external environment, which make it essential for them to respond and implement necessary changes. This work focuses on an analysis of the change management in academic libraries in some countries. This study investigates and examines new management changes by considering different factors including quality, performance and relationship between fields of organizational change and implementation process to be as a modern technological workplace.

Dr. Shaghaei obtained her B.A in Iran and worked for fourteen years as Training manager for well-known companies. She moved to North Cyprus and obtained her MBA and Ph.D in Girne American University. Meanwhile, she worked as Library manager and part-time lecturer in GAU.She is currently Library manager in English School of Kyrenia.
