CHANGING SPACES

This book explores and maps out the journey of a white professional through race culture and difference. More specifically of how race culture and difference impacts both her and her clients lives. It's an exploration of the development of awareness, skills, attitude and behaviour needed to function in today's world as a multicultural practitioner and the personal experiences led to the development of these. It explores the complexities, difficulties and dilemmas faced in both her personal and professional life and hopes it will give the reader some insight to the journey and the process involved.The aim is to provide a space to think and reflect on experiences of race and culture, the themes that emerge in this process including whiteness studies and development of speaking rights about these matters in an ever changing world.
