Characterization and expression profiling of TLR2 gene with mastitis

The objective of this book is to identify and characterize single nucleotide polymorphism variants in Toll Like Receptor 2 gene and find out association with mastitis tolerance/susceptibility in crossbred cattle. Differential expression profiling of TLR2 gene was studied and understand the correlation between Toll Like Receptor 2 gene and mastitis tolerance/susceptibility which can be incorporated into selection and breeding program.

O Dr. Sanjeev Ranjan formou-se em 2007 na W.B.U.A.F.Sc., Kolkata. Também obteve o seu Mestrado e Doutoramento em Genética Animal e Reprodução no I.V.R.I., Izatnagar. Actualmente, trabalha como Especialista em Assuntos Temáticos em Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Nalanda, Bihar. Foi destinatário do I.C.A.R. J.R.F. no M.V.Sc. e publicou 12 artigos de investigação.
