In recent years increased environmental awareness and consciousness throughout the world have developed an increasing interest in natural fibers and fillers and their applications in various fields of engineering. The majority of natural fiber composites have a high strength-to-weight ratio, a high stiffness, a low thermal expansion coefficient, and a high thermal conductivity. As a result, NFRPs have the potential to replace synthetic fiber-reinforced composite materials in a variety of applications, such as automotive, aviation, and aerospace, as well as other advanced industries. The objective of the research work is to reduce the scrap and reutilize the used jute fiber as an effective reinforcement material. for reutilizing the used jute fibers the fibers have undergone chemical treatment with different concentrations, treatment times, and post-treatment chemicals. Based on the available literature and standard manufacturing and testing methods used jute fiber mat reinforced composite material was developed to evaluate mechanical, thermal, and tribological behavior.
