Hannah is head over heals in love with one of the cheerleaders. To get closer to her she decides that becoming a cheerleader is the only option. The following weeks Hannah and her friend attend cheerleader practice. Even though Hannah is bad at it, she still managed to catch her crush's attention. They quickly become friends. Will Hannah get with her crush or will her heart get shattered when she gets rejected?

The author, Mailin Harms, born 2008, is a student that lives in Germany. This is the first book she published.As she got older she realized, that she never saw a lot of LGBTQ+ representation. The author wanted to write a storyline with a non-straight couple falling in love for a few years but never had the courage to actually start. Growing up she always heard others using homosexuality as an insult, and picturing it as something that was not okay. She started getting scared what her friends or family might think of her, but was relieved when they were all accepting.
