Chemical injuries of the oral cavity

Chemical injuries of the oral cavity are rarely reported in literature although they are common in occurrence. Our book presents a detailed review of literature and short case summaries of chemical injuries of the oral cavity. We have also discussed in detail about the investigations and the treatment modalities for the chemical injuries occurring in the oral cavity. A note on the commonly available medications that can be used for the treatment of the chemical injuries is also added to the text.

Dr Shishir Shetty has completed his BDS in the year 2004 and MDS in the year 2008. He is currently pursuing his PhD Degree in the field of "Micronutrients in Oral Cancer". He is currently working in the Department of Oral Medicine and Radiology in AB Shetty Memorial Institute of Dental Sciences.He has 50 international publications to his credit.
