Amulya Kumar Saxena is a Consultant Pediatric Surgeon at the Chelsea Children's Hospital, Chelsea and Westminster Hospital NHS Foundation Trust, Imperial College London, United Kingdom. He graduated summa-cum-laude from the Medical University of Pecs, Hungary, and subsequently specialized in Pediatric Surgery at the Westfälische Wilhelms University Münster, Germany, later becoming Chief Consultant Pediatric Surgeon. He was later the Associate Professor and Deputy Director of the Department of Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery, Medical University of Graz, Austria, during which he was also Head of the Experimental Fetal Surgery and the Tissue Engineering Unit. Amulya Saxena has been the recipient of various awards for his scientific contributions in Pediatric Surgery and associated Research. He has been an invited guest professor/lecturer at various departments of pediatric surgery across the world and is a member of various International and National Scientific societies. He is a regular contributor at international conferences and the author of more than 140 original articles in peer-reviewed journals.
