Children are our future, and what happens to children from the very earlier years affect their development and development of the society at large. Understanding the causes, trends and consequences of child labour will help in planning intervention strategies aimed at preventing or at least minimizing the harsh effects of child labour and the number of children in the informal sector and other economic areas of child labour exploitation. The book will provide scientific information like the nature of work performed by the children, their working environment, causes and consequences of the problems.
