It is known that dental caries and periodontal diseases are among the most widespread diseases among the population of the globe, and the expenses aimed at their elimination have a significant impact on the economy of countries. But the most important thing is that these diseases can seriously damage human health with their complications. According to the latest data, in the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan, the prevalence of caries among children living in cities is 87.76% among 6-year-old children, 68.04% among 12-year-old children respectively, the rate of caries is 3.96 and 1 .49 is the indicator. In this textbook, non - caries diseases that occur among children, diseases of the mucous membrane of the oral cavity, caries complications, Comprehensive measures to eliminate periodontal diseases are presented to students as primary and secondary preventive measures. Primary preventive measures are prevention of diseases by applying them before the first clinical signs appear as a complex complex. Secondary prevention is oral hygiene, which is an event aimed at preventing the complications of existing diseases with timely and competent treatment.
